2019/20 LaLiga calendar unveiled
The Real Federación Española de Fútbol (Spanish Football Federation) drew the fixtures for the 2019/20 LaLiga season this Thursday at their headquarters in Madrid, and revealed the start and end dates for the domestic league competition.
Valencia CF will get their campaign underway at Mestalla, on the weekend of August 18th, 2019. Their 38th and final league game of the season will be away against Sevilla FC on the weekend of May 24th, 2020.
The first game against LaLiga champions FC Barcelona will come four games in, on September 15th at the Camp Nou, with a return game on Matchday 21 (January 26th).
In other meetings with their fellow Champions League participants, Valencia CF will play Atletico Madrid on the weekends of October 20th (Wanda Metropolitano) and February 16th (Mestalla), and Real Madrid on December 15th (Mestalla) and March 22nd (Santiago Bernabeú).
Whilst the first derby of the season against Levante UD will take place on Matchday 16 at Mestalla in early December, the return fixture will be held in the middle of the city's Fallas festivities, on Match 15th.
Exact dates and kickoff times will be confirmed closer to matchday.
